The limits of what our pharmacist can do

Our registered pharmacist can explain how a prescribed medicine works, how and when to take it, what to watch out for, and whether two medicines should not be combined. He can also give nutrition and supplement guidance within his qualifications.

He cannot diagnose your condition, and he will not change a dose your doctor has prescribed. Where something needs a doctor, we will tell you plainly, and tell you what to ask.

Prescription medicines

Prescription-only medicines are dispensed strictly against a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner, verified by our registered pharmacist. We may refuse or cancel any order where the prescription is absent, expired, illegible, altered, or where we have reason to doubt it. We are not licensed for Schedule X (narcotic and psychotropic) drugs and do not sell them.

Emergencies

This website is not a medical service and is not monitored around the clock. If you are having a medical emergency, do not use this website — call 108 or go to your nearest hospital immediately. If you think you have taken too much of a medicine, or you are having a serious reaction to one, seek medical help straight away.

Product descriptions on this site are compiled from publicly available information about the drug or ingredient and are written by us. We take care to keep them accurate, but formulations, packaging and manufacturer information can change. The information on the pack and the leaflet inside it always takes precedence over anything on this website. Always read it.
