Gupta Meds started as a neighbourhood medical store in CDA, Cuttack, and that is still what we are — just with a website attached. When you order from us, a registered pharmacist reads your prescription. When something is out of stock, a real person calls you. When you are not sure whether two medicines can be taken together, you can ask, and you will get a straight answer.

The person who runs this shop is the pharmacist

Gupta Meds is owned and run by Roshan Kumar Gupta, a pharmacist registered with the Odisha Pharmacy Council (Reg. No. 38441/OPC) who is also a qualified nutritionist. He is not a manager who employs a pharmacist — he is the pharmacist, and he is the one checking your prescription.

That is worth knowing, because it is the difference between a warehouse and a pharmacy.

What makes us different from a national app

• We deliver across Cuttack in about 20 minutes. Our customers mention this in their reviews more than anything else, and it is the part we are proudest of.
• A registered pharmacist checks every prescription order before it leaves the store. Not an algorithm.
• Free diet and supplement guidance with every order — a real diet chart, not a generic PDF.
• We are licensed for cold-chain medicines. Our Form 21 licence covers drugs that must be stored between 2 °C and 8 °C, so we can stock and supply things most local shops cannot handle safely.
• Genuine stock only. Everything comes from licensed distributors, with proper batch and expiry records.
• You can walk in. We are a real shop with a real counter. If something goes wrong, there is a door you can knock on.

Prescription medicines, over-the-counter remedies, supplements and sports nutrition, baby and personal care, home healthcare devices and home diagnostic monitors. If you need something we do not stock, ask — we can usually source it within a day.

Gupta Meds is a licensed retail pharmacy operating under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. Prescription medicines are dispensed only against a valid prescription, under the supervision of our registered pharmacist.
